The room is rectangular and when you walk in the door you see this... I``````I I I I_ _I The opening on the bottom is where the door is. The big wall on the right we be the mirrors and ballet barre. The dotten lines are where the 2 outlits are, so I am using those 2 plug-ins for my iPod Doc and a fan. That's basicly the only area the furniture and bulky things will go. Here is a list of things I have in mind to get already... -Ballet Pictures/Wall Hangings -A yoga mat (that can be rolled up) -Air freshener -A 3 drawer organizer (on wheels to put my costumes, shoes, hair accessories, etc. in) -A rolling office chair to take a break -Lamp (maybe) -End table (to place kleenex* box, iPod Doc, etc. on top of) -Mini trash can -Small, square box of tissues (with a cute design) -A small fan (other outlit) (2 outlits are used up) -A first-aid box consisting of: -Band-aids -Neosporin -Lotion -Pony-tails -Bobby-pins -Deodorant -A water bottle Here's my question(s)... What else can I put in my dance studio? Is there something from my list you wouldn't place in the studio? What colors would go great with a lighter tone of brown, and a cream color? (Those are the colors of the walls and floors... CANNOT BE CHANGED). Thank you so much! I'm very excited to decorate my new dance studio! :) (Note): The room's wall layout I tried to make- The line that is misplaced is supposed to be on the big, right wall. Thanks :D I think you should go with a pink color. That would look really nice! I think this is a very cool idea too. Also i think you should add maybe in a little corner a place to hang curtains to make a little changing room with a mirror inside and then put your costumes and shoes and warm up / practice clothes in. That would be very beneficial I think, so you can spend more time in that room. You should also hang some shelves to put maybe dancing trophies and metals on to show your accomplishments if you are like a competitive dancer like i am ! BTW i am also 12!! The last thing i would add is i don't think you should have a rolling chair because if you were just working out and are maybe dizzy you might want to take a break and you could fall or something with the rolling chair , so maybe get a sturdy wood chair with a cushion if you want some comfort. | Read more |
